John W. McCully Bio

For over 20 years, John McCully has brought extensive creativity and management experience to roles that range from heading a publishing concern to launching a Washington-based lobbying group and founding two advertising companies.

With a diverse business and creative background spanning corporate, agency, and consulting experience, John brings a passionate, intelligent and dedicated marketing and business approach to the process of creating effective, compelling communications.

Some notable career highlights include the major redesigning and repositioning of a multi-product publishing company on a 6-year down-slide, returning it to profitability within a nine-month period. McCully also wrote, directed and produced an animated presentation for second round funding that was pivotal in the client raising $250 million.

Since 2001, as founder and head of Wylie Galt Advertising in Los Angeles, California, he has overseen a broad range of effective advertising work including television, radio, print, web and branding.

McCully has provided direction, strategy and creative work for a broad range of firms from independent small businesses to Fortune 100s including; Technicolor, Infiniti, Showtime, Electrolux, Time Warner, CB Richard Ellis, Key Bank and a myriad of others.
